Suicide Hotline  1-800-273-TALK (8255). This is the national suicide prevention lifeline.  Calls are routed to the nearest crisis center in your area. Free and confidential emotional support.

 

24 Hour Crisis Line 1-888-552-6642  This crisis line is answered by DHS 34 trained crisis staff. The goals of this service are to provide callers with information, support, assessment, intervention and response planning.

 

www.nami.org The National Alliance on Mental Illness site provides many resources, from learning more to particular mental health problems to starting your own local chapter.

 

samhsa.gov The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration is the agency within the U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities.
